AOBS 2013 Reunion Dinner Video

Videoing the 2013 AOBS Reunion Dinner back in October was a wonderful experience. I had a great time meeting and speaking with so many of the legendary figures and fans of the olde time iron game. I've been working hard to assemble videos that give the full flavor of the event, and that illustrate what makes the reunion dinner so special. As of this writing, I've completed three videos, with three more on the way. (This page will be updated as each of the final videos are completed).
The first video focuses on Frank Spellman, gold medalist in men's middleweight weightlifting at the 1948 London Olympics, who had a surprise reunion at the dinner:
The second video is a straightforward recap of the tribute to Mike Katz (including Mr. Yale's introduction and Mr. Katz's speech):
And the third video covers Russ Testo's three outstanding bodybuilding posing routines:
(Each of the three videos can be seen on a bigger video player by clicking on the "vimeo" label on the right side of the status bar at the bottom of the video.)
The final three videos will cover (1) the tribute to Mr. Ken Patera; (2) a recap of the afternoon and evening strength performances; and (3) a general video concerning what makes the AOBS so special, featuring interviews that I did with several attendees about their own lives and their experiences with the AOBS.
These videos are at various stages of completion. My strong hope is to have these all done by mid-April (once again, I was traveling for work in March), as I know you've all been patiently waiting. But as I'm sure Artie will tell you, I don't always meet my self-imposed deadlines. Absent extraordinary circumstances, they should certainly be done by the end of April 2014, at the latest.

WATCHING AND/OR ORDERING THE VIDEO
I've posted the three videos above in full for anyone to watch absolutely for free. I want you (and others) to watch and enjoy them, so please feel welcome to do so! I don't expect or want any kind of payment for simply making and posting these videos -- it's a labor of love. The remaining three videos also will be posted for free upon completion on Vimeo and on this page (and on the front page of this website).
If you would like to download all six videos (once all of them are done) to own and store on your own computer, I can set up a download for you for $10. Again, these are the same videos that I'm making available for streaming for free, so don't feel obligated to place an order. But I wanted to make the option available if anyone was interested. The downloads will be available immediately upon completion of the last video (that is, by the end of April). (Please note that you'll need a pretty fast internet connection for the downloads -- the files are fairly large!)
If you would like a DVD-rom (playable ONLY on your computer through a video-playing program) or a standard definition DVD (playable in a standard DVD player), I'm making those available for $30. Again, these will simply be the same videos that are available streaming for free, and you should in no way feel obligated to place an order. But if you're interested in one of these disc versions, let me know. The discs will probably be available a few weeks after the videos are completed, or, in other words, some time in May.
I hope you enjoy the above three videos, and the final three once they're completed in the coming weeks. If you are interested in placing an order for the downloads, the DVD-rom, or the standard definition DVD, please contact me using the form below. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask as well -- I want to make sure you know what you're getting, and are happy with it! And I look forward to seeing everyone again at the 2014 Dinner.
Best regards,
Seth
